Hi there. Captain Americas has been the place to be, for both my families and friends for any occassion. Ive been going for what I imagine to be over 10 years (since i was quite young anyway) and never a doubt has it been what ive adored. Today, however, my friend and I went to celebrate at our usual favourite which we have not been able to attend for a little while, only to find the menu has completely changed !! Our favourites from the house curry to the heavenly lasagna to the lovely pizzas, gone, out of the blue. You can imagine our heartbreak to discover some of our favourite dishes removed. We enquired with our lovely waitress, who was very kind and helpful. Im sad to see the menu be reduced so. Thank you
Brought some friends in to Grafton Street restaurant from Manchester. 7 of us in total, all adults. Brazilian guy serving, excellent. Food came out fast and loads of it. Beers lovely and cold, wine chilled. No complaints whatsoever. Just what we all wanted!
Was a lucky winner of a voucher which we used today in Grafton st. The service & food were excellent - the portions were huge we were still stuffed hours later - will defo be back - our sons gave it 5 stars too
Well there really isn't a bad thing to say about captain America's...I've been coming here to the grafton street one for about 20 years and every visit has always been a great experience, between the delicious food, the excellent service and the atmosphere its hard not to fall in love with captain America's...and for the very rare occasion that your less then 100% happy , they always go out of there way to make up for it! This place is one of the best and would highly recommend
Captains Grafton Street provided myself and my wife with outstanding service and food last night. I had the new yorker burger for my main with fries. The burger was so good I didnt want it to end. I was stuffed leaving. Really great vibe too. Thanks Captains.
We went to blanch yesterday for my daughter's 18th birthday family meal (her choice) our server Anthony was do nice had everything out to us super quick and took time to make sure everything was ok even joked with my 2 boys which they loved. I asked if he could put a candle in a brownie for Tara and he did no problem 4 other servers also took the time to come over and sing happy birthday to her brilliant service thanks so much for making it such an enjoyable experience
Hi captain’s!!! Myself and a friend had a two course meal here today Sunday 28/01. Our server Sean went above and beyond to ensure we were attended to and upheld the organisational needs to the highest standard. We did have a slight issue with our mains in which we reached out to Sean who took personal ownership of the issue which clearly it wasn’t. He ensured both of us where fully satisfied and even made sure to thank us for coming before we left! I hope to see great things for him in the future.Absolute Gent! Paul McCabe
Went with my daughter mother and sister food and service was great. My daughter who is 6 got her face painted by a lovely girl really great with kids made a balloon also she was delighted. Great specials all really good. We were all happy
Great food, decent portions and great service. Had to wait 45mins for a table but didn't mind as we hadn't booked and just had a drink in the bar. Combo starter is nice and the OTT Sloppy Joe is worth a try. All in all a good experience and would recommend.
Was in the grafton street store today and it was the besttttttt! Food and drinks were so so good and our waiter Shane was not only an absolute star but also easy enough on the eye if ya know what I mean ;))()) thanks again!xx

The restaurant was very busy, staff run off their feet, but still had time to be pleasant to customers, smile, and joke. The food was lovely and came very quick. Over all very nice experience and staff great.
We had sweet 16th party in captain americas and i have to say it was great. Maneger Dave was great and gave us good deal. He trusted us with bunch of teenagers and i hope we didint disapoint him and the team everyone was friendly and helpfull. Great DJ
Always a great experience in Capt America's blanch! We were very well looked after by the staff for my sister's birthday. In particular Conor was a superb host and helped make the party very special. Thank you to the entire crew who sang happy birthday!! We will be back!!
We preordered as a group & they had the food on the table no more than 2 minutes after we arrived, really helpful staff & even knew whether their juices were concentrate or not, half Dublin restaurants don't know. Well done lads, we'll be back! 👍👍👍👍👍
Now look here! I had the veggie burger with a pint of Guinness. My wife had a sloppy joe and mykid had the chicken nuggets. It was great. The server was friendly and very helpful. I love this place and the next time I make the trip over the puddle from NYC, I will be back. Just a suggestion, but C.A.'s really should have some kind of shrine to Thin Lizzy. You know, the GREATEST band to come out of Ireland. Sorry, Bono. Can't wait to come back! 🤘
Won a voucher through Facebook a few weeks back. Me and my partner went to the Grafton Street branch, the staff were so lovely and accommodating especially niamh (I think this was her name). The food was so nice and the waitress (Niamh) was able to recommend some really good options. Pleasant visit and will visit again.
I was in captain americas on Saturday the 24th and I was absolutely delighted with everything. The food was exceptional as always but what really stood apart was the standard of service. Sean Li served us and was clearly busy with the rest of the tables around us but it felt like he paid so much attention to us. We never had to wait for drinks or extra sauces and nothing was too much to ask for. Even getting our bill he took the time to chat to us about how he got on with our meal and apologised for having to wait while he served other people, even though we never felt ignored. Every time we've eaten in captain americas we were happy but last Saturday really stood out! Would definitely recommend!
I visited Captains in Grafton street last night , it was busy but plenty of staff to keep up with customers. The girl greeter was nice pleasant and curtious .The server guy who came to me was new and let me know and if I had any problems or needed anything let him know , he was very good so no problem. My food came quite quickly. It was all great , at least 3 times was I asked was I OK did I need any more. Starter main dessert and coffee . All beautiful . My favorite place to get a burger .
Had an absolutely excellent meal on Saturday in Captain Americas, Blanchardstown. The food was top class, mouthwatering steaks all around - very generous portions too! Our waiter Anthony was just the best, so friendly and pleasant. It was a pleasure to dine there and we will definitely return soon. Thank you very much xx
We had a very good experience there except one thing let it down...the bar staff. The guy serving us hadn't a clue what wine was on offer and had to show me a few more than half used bottles to choose from. Now the food and the service in that area was just great. We had a lovely girl Nicole looking after us and although she was only a week there she was brilliant. Top marks on that front. Bar staff needs to be bucked up
I would to say a big big big thank you too all the staff in Captain America's Grafton St. For all their help over the last few months, for allowing us to get hot water from them, Which helps the homeless of our city with tea's, coffee, hot chocolate and soup!! They have always being so helpful with their water donations, From myself and all the volunteers at the Cairdea's soup run, thank you all so much
Myself , my hubby and our 4 kids were ,there yesterday we had a lovely meal the kids really enjoyed it,They were very happy myself and the hubby enjoyed it to we would all eat there again the staff are very nice 🖒
Beautiful! I had a chilli chicken wrap and my niece had a chicken burger. Both very well presented by your lovely professional friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you. Most enjoyable. 👍🏻😊
Absolutely the best dinner we've had in Dublin so far. My friend and I saw it from the street and, being huge Marvel fans (Captain America is actually our favorite) we had to go in. The decor was amazing. They really went all out with the theme. There was a huge mural of Cap fighting Red Skull along the wall we were seated on. Then our waitress was the sweetest girl. We were on vacation so neither of us had student IDs and we didn't try to ask for any sort of discount, but when we went to order cocktails, she came back with a student menu and told us our choices were on there and she would give them to us at the student cost if we didn't mind a slightly smaller drink. Then my friend loved their employee tshirt so much we asked if we could purchase them. Unfortunately they only had smalls, so I wasn't able to get one, but she even asked the manager, Kazi, and he came over to the table to speak with us and he was fantastic. We talked for a good 10 minutes and, as we were taking our final pictures, he came back with shots for us! I have no idea what they were but they tasted like a green apple jolly rancher and were delicious. I want to say that I was honestly ready to pay just about anything for the experience of eating there but it was very reasonably priced, probably our cheapest dinner yet. If I could rate them more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you Captain Americas! We'll send people your way!
Apart from the 20 min we had to wait everything was great. We sat at the bar upstairs for a while having a pint and got called in for a table with a lovely smile . The girls at the front are doing a great job I must say , Siobhan and Lauren are super efficient and provided a great service by helping me find vegan options and the food was lovely ! Will come back!
Had dinner here with my daughter last Wednesday night after winning a competition on Facebook. A table had been reserved for us so we had no wait. We both had garlic bread with cheese to start which came with a small side salad. I had fillet steak with pepper sauce & chips and my daughter had the ribs with chips. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Service was great, particularly from our server Laura O'Connor who was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend if looking for somewhere to eat in the City Centre
Very good service in grafton street, quick and everything was what I ordered only fault was that the plates were all over the place and I ordered a burger and it was half fallen apart with a stick going through it for no apparent reason because it was clearly not for support hahaha
